The Case of the Investment Landlord, the Agent and the Tenant

A luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment came on to the sales market which was recommended to an investment landlord by APW. At the same time, APW was approached by some discerning tenants who were specifically looking for a luxury apartment and who had been let down by another agent. On APW’s recommendation the investment landlord purchased the property and re-decorated it. At the same time, the tenants viewed it and the property was let in less than 24 hours with the tenants moving in a short time later. The landlord and APW’s commitment to securing the tenancy was second to none. This would be quite remarkable at the best of times, but all of this happened during the Christmas period, so you can imagine how delighted the tenants were.

Tenancy arranged on Trust

APW was approached by a relocation agent on behalf of tenants who had been let down on another property. APW’s Lettings Manager at the Weybridge Office identified a suitable replacement property with immediate effect, despatched exterior and interior photographs directly and the tenants trusted APW enough to commit to a minimum 1 year tenancy, with an option on year 2, without setting foot inside the house! The property in question was a six bedroom property on the edge of St George’s Hill with a rental value of over £8,500 per month. The landlord was rather pleased too as he had new tenants within 4 weeks of the previous tenancy finishing thanks to APW! An excellent result all round.
